Zaku II (Magella Cannon)

The Zaku II (Heavy Type) is the Zeon heavy type Support unit and the Zeon counter to the GM [G] WR. Being a Heavy type support unit, this MS is unique in that it has a melee attack, in this case a heat hawk. Equipped with the Magella Top Cannon, this MS has the lowest damaging main weapon out of the initial Support Types (sniper, cannon, tank, heavy) but more than makes up for this in MS speed and reload speed.

What truly differentiates this MS and keeps it relevant in higher level rooms is it's leg mounted missile launchers. Combined with the stunning effect of the Magella Top Cannon, the missile launchers can drain a large amount of HP in a matter of seconds.

This MS should be used in conjunction with friendly, All-Purpose or Melee MS, destroying anything stunned or knocked over by a teammates attack. One simply must be aware of the state of their friendly MS, making a hasty retreat if their teammates are close to death as Melee suits make extremely quick work of this suit.
