The Guntank is a Support MS for the EFF. It is rather one of the EFF's more stronger Support MS due to the weapons installed on the Guntank. It is one of the units from Project V that was suppose to support the Gundam. However, because of it's major success, it has been made into a Mass-Production Unit, along with it's sister unit, the Guncannon. It is considered to be the Rival unit to Zeon's Zaku Tank but with one less weapon. Because this unit does NOT have a melee weapon or the ability to punch/ram Zeon MS with it's arms. Once this MS is corned by melee type MS, The Guntank is easily taken care of. However, EFF MS pilots still favor the Guntank due to it's ability to maul down enemy until they unlock later suits, like the Guncannon, GM Sniper Custom, or GM Sniper II Custom.
